THE BAHAMAS
Perhaps the most well-known of the multitude of Caribbean
islands, the image of the Bahamas immediately conjures up peaceful,
relaxed and utterly gorgeous scenes. With 700 or so islands,
there's plenty of variety to suit those down on the beach - and those
who like to be more active. The Bahamas' proximity to the USA has led to

BONAIRE
Bonaire, snuggled next to the Venezuelan coast, is a haven for
all things natural. Divers 'in the know' rate the coastline
as the
best in the Caribbean. This is unsurprising, given the superb
record of conservation - the shores have been legally protected since
1979. And with water temperatures averaging between 26 and 30°C, throw
away those wetsuits and get down with the fish!

THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
If you're Pauline Fowler from Albert Square, you should look away now.
While the British Virgin Islands are stunning and a wonderful
location for a
relaxing break away, they're seriously expensive. Take a
big stash of US dollars with you and expect to spend them readily.
