Events Planning Committee
Description
The Events Planning Committee is established to create and
coordinate the events and activities that take place in CSA.
Members will work with Vice Presidents of Programming to come up
with new, exciting, and educational ideas to facilitate and promote
Caribbean culture.

Community Service
Committee
Description
The purpose of the Community Service Committee is to serve as the
governing body that establishes and plans CSA community service
activities. Members of this committee will come up with new ideas to
outreach and serve the community, and will also be responsible for
organizing the day and time of community service events.

Finance / Fundraising Committee
Description
The Finance / Fundraising Committee is established to assist the
Treasurer with all monetary affairs of the Caribbean Students Association
(CSA). Each Committee member will work closely with the Treasurer.
The Committee will be responsible for executing fundraising ideas and
projects. Committee members are expected to be on hand at all fundraising
events. Committee members will also assist the Treasurer with preparations
of letters and event proposals as well as meeting with potential sponsors
to discuss future contributions and donations to the organization.
Committee members will assist the Treasurer in collecting admissions at
the door to any event/fundraiser. The Finance/Fundraising Committee's goal
is to accumulate as much funds as we can to ensure that Carifest is a
success and the greatest show on this campus!

Historian
Committee
Description
The main objective of the Historian Committee is to display and record
the history of CSA through various
media and techniques. With pictures,
collection of fliers, videotapes, etc., we hope to form a creative way of
capturing all of the moments in CSA. By the end of the year, one of the
many things this committee will have formed is a portfolio which will
provide a vivid illustrations of what programs and
events occurred during this school year.

Street Team
Description
The Street Team committee is composed of people who can dedicate their time to help with the
marketing, promotion, and advertising of CSA. With all of the ideas and events we have planned for the year, we need people to help
let the whole campus know what's going on with CSA. This committee's activities would include passing out flyers for upcoming
events, spreading information about events through word of mouth, help sell tickets for events, and any other promotional
waves we may need (i.e. chalking, late nights, etc). Time commitments would be the heaviest around days closer to certain events.
Communication would be mostly through meetings, and emails.
